Kevin Ancog, RN, MN(NP), MAdNP,
GradCert(PeriopNsg) is a Urology Clinical Nurse Consultant at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
(RPA), where he plays a pivotal role in advancing patient care and clinical practice within
the urology specialty. In his current position, Kevin is committed to enhancing the quality
of care for urology patients through innovative initiatives and comprehensive support
services.
Previously, Kevin served as the Prostate Cancer CNC, where he established the Prostate
Cancer Care Program at RPA. This nurse-led service provides vital psychosocial support and
care coordination for prostate cancer patients, their families, and carers, guiding them
from diagnosis through to survivorship. His ongoing practice focus on understanding the
impacts of continence and sexual pre- and rehabilitation programs on the treatment outcomes
of prostate cancer, reflecting his dedication to improving patient quality of life.
Kevin also served as President of the Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society
(ANZUNS) from 2022 to 2024 and is a board member of the Education Framework for Urological
Nursing (EFUN), a collaborative initiative involving ANZUNS, the British Association of
Urological Nurses, and the European Association of Urology Nurses. He is also actively
involved with the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation Urology Network, contributing to the
advancement of clinical practices and standards in urology nursing.
