A/Prof Nicole Heneka co-leads the Cancer Survivorship Research Group, a research collaborative between the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia based at the UniSQ Centre for Health Research. She is an experienced implementation scientist with a research program that includes: the design and implementation of evidence-based prostate cancer survivorship interventions into clinical care using participatory and mixed research methods; health services research and evaluation; and the development of multi-disciplinary cancer survivorship models of care. She is also actively involved in clinical and academic research capacity building, and fostering academic/industry research partnerships.
