Dr Swindle is a urologist who subspecializes solely in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of prostate cancer.  His expertise lies in robotic prostatectomy and he has extensive surgical experience, having performed approximately 3000 radical prostatectomies. He has a special interest in MRI of the prostate. 

Dr Swindle completed his medical education at the University of Queensland and completed advanced urological training in Queensland. During his urological training he also completed a Masters of Surgery at the University of Sydney on Magnetic Resonance of the Prostate. Following on from his general urology training, he undertook a 2 year subspecialty Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York focusing on prostate cancer. Dr Swindle also completed an American Brachytherapy Fellowship at the Seattle Prostate Institute.  

He has an appointments at the Mater Private Hospital, Mater Public Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital and the Wesley Hospital.
